About the Program
The Spring Hill Hawks Cheer Program is available for children ages 5- 12 supporting sportsmanship, the building of friendships, and the development of fundamental cheer skills for the youth of our community. Cheer is offered in the Fall with practices beginning mid-Summer.
- Games schedules are determined by TNYFL which are announced at a later date. If posted, it will be listed below in the League Schedule.
- Games are held on Saturdays at different locations within the metro Nashville area.
- Practices are Tuesday from 6pm-8pm. If you elect to participate in competitive cheer, practice will also be on Thursday from 6pm-8pm.
- All practices are held at Fischer Park
- You have the opportunity to receive schedule notifications and communications through the
PlayMetrics
app. Please download the app and create your free account!
Age Divisions
Fall Season:
For the Fall Season, players are aligned in Divisions according to their age as of July 31st of the year in which the season is played.
- 6U: Ages 5 -6 based on their age as of July 31st.
- 8U: Ages 7-8 based on their age as of July 31st.
- 10U: Ages 9-10 based on their age as of July 31st.
- 12U:
Ages 11-12 based on their age as of July 31st
What's Included
The registration fee for the season is $250 and includes the cheer uniform and pom poms. Poms will be returned at the end of the season but the unform is yours to keep!
There are a few items you will need to purchase or reuse each season:
- Practice attire including shorts, shirts, and socks.
- White tennis shoes

Weather
We all know Middle TN weather can change quickly! We will communicate cancellations for weather or field condition at least 1 hour prior to practice / game times. Please note that we typically do not cancel for light rain, but a heavy rain or lightening will result in cancellations. We of course want the game to continue when it can and will make every effort to play, but our main priority is always the safety of the children & their families.
Volunteering / Coaching

Our programs are in thanks to our volunteer coaches!
We provide you coaching drills, assistance through the season, a coaching bag with everything you'll need for practices and game days PLUS you get to pick your practice time!
Coaching is a fun and rewarding experience! It's a 4 hour commitment during the week and 2-3 hours on Sat during game day!
All coaches must complete a background check.
Concessions
We offer a wide range of food and drink items for purchase at our concession building (near the playground). From cheeseburgers, hot dogs, soft pretzels, candy, ice cream, and chips to soft drinks, gatorade, coffee, water, and even energy drinks!
We are always looking for volunteers in concessions as well. High School students will receive volunteer credit hours.
